Job Brief

  • Integration Developer will be responsible for the complete life cycle of information systems, from requirements and analysis to design and development. Capable to study data sources and data models and then plan solutions before delivering integrations
  • Integration Developer should be able to perform software integration at various levels and phases of implementation, this includes the connection of data, applications, APIs, and devices throughout the organization for greater efficiency, productivity, and agility
  • Must be able to understand the interdependencies between implementation elements and the interdependencies between implementation subsystems, and how development and dependencies are expected to change over time

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional requirements of the business
  • Implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
  • Upload data into appropriate databases in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop and document the data audit, archiving, and restoration processes
  • Provide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designs
  • Develop data integration standards according to the organization’s information services policies as well as best practices
  • Conduct efforts to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and to make recommendations where necessary
  • Work with Hardware Engineers and Software Developers to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
  • Convert physical data integration models and other design specifications to source codes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, other related scientific or technical discipline is required
  • Position requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity, experience can be substituted for education
  • Familiar with Government’s procedures and requirements for HSPD-12, knowledgeable about Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), PIV (Personal Identity Verification) integration, Biometrics and Credential Management System (CMS) is a plus
  • Capable of implementation with AWS and Azure
  • Proficient with .NET, Visual Studio, and Windows-based development
  • Experience with application development and server-side languages – e.g., C++, SQL
  • Knowledge of integration concepts and patterns, understanding of object-oriented languages – e.g., Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and design patterns
  • Experience with Integration, API management/Gateway and microservices patterns
