Job Description
The Field Tech supports mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, QA testing, demonstrations, field
support, customer requirements gathering, and general support backup for cross functional teams. The
technician will help fabricate, assemble, modify, test, repair, and evaluate mechanical, electrical,
components, sub-systems, software assemblies and systems. It represents an exceptional opportunity for
a result-driven individual in a new but exploding niche market.
Good communication, software development, hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and requirements
gathering are needed to fulfill this role. Techs must demonstrate flexible thinking, the ability to
work well with others, and always promote forward thinking for innovation and development.
The field technician assists cross-functionally the business units to deploy, test, deliver, and
support NextgenID products for demonstrations, client deliveries, and internal programs. The Field
Tech assists the Product Owner by collecting client requirements, conveying the requirements clearly
to the dev team, and confirming the delivery and integrated functional testing of those tasks in the
product release.
