Junior Software Developer

NextgenID is seeking an entry-level full-stack Software Developer with relevant experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, etc., to join the development team working remotely. The role is primarily focused on the development of NextgenID’s Trusted Identity Services Platform. It represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a new but exploding niche market.


Responsibilities, Duties, and Expectations

  • Design, develop, and deploy software services
  • Code and test applications assigned under ADO/TFS
  • Collaborate closely with other developers/engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
  • Perform functional and integrated QA and Testing
  • Participate in standups, sprints, and agile development framework
  • Assist the software/hardware development teams as needed to integrate, test, and deploy applications and services

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6-24 months of software development experience in relevant stack (C#, .NET, JavaScript) is required
  • Experience working with two or more of the following: web application development, UX/UI design and development, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
  • Candidates are expected to be good coders
  • A basic understanding of database architectures is ideal
  • Willingness to learn new technologies is a must
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with engineers from non-software/ data science backgrounds
  • Develops concise syntax with an appropriate, but not excessive level of documentation
  • Knowledge of working with Digital Certificates, Biometrics, and Encryption is a plus
  • Experience developing and testing containerized software applications on multi-server platforms is a plus
  • Experience in AWS/Azure cloud services is a plus
