NextgenID partners with local and international systems integrators to get identity
solutions into African markets
NextgenID, a technology leader in trusted identity solutions, joined notable exhibitors
at ID4Africa on December 8-10 and presented their patent-pending Supervised Remote
Identity Proofing Technology. This marks NextgenID’s first step in its go-to-market
strategy for the African region and a significant expansion of their geographic reach.
The COVID-19 crisis has necessitated innovative solutions to counter major challenges in
identity management and the widespread economic downturn. ID4Africa 2020: Marathon of
Innovations is a new virtual conference and expo experience that focuses on identity
solutions for this new world. It brought thousands of professionals together from around
the world for knowledge-sharing, networking and explorations of innovations in response
to new identity management realities.
“ID4Africa presented a unique venue for NextgenID to introduce our state-of-the-art
identity solutions to industry leaders in government and the private sector, and was an
ideal inaugural event for breaking into the African market,” said Mohab Murrar, CEO of
NextgenID. “There is an immense need for our technology, made even more relevant by the
new post-COVID normal, for identity security online as well as physical safety.”
NextgenID’s new and enhanced kiosk acts as an identity station to transform enrollment
and credentialing. The identity station is a highly automated, wizard driven enrollment
and authentication station specifically designed for the secure capture of multiple
biometrics and associated personal identity information. It delivers unmatched speed in
enrollment without compromising accuracy in its capture of biometrics, documents, and
input data. Security is built into the physical footprint of the station in addition to
the enrollment software platform and interface.
Supervised Remote-Identity Proofing (SRIP) is NextgenID’s timely solution as the world
becomes accustomed to social distancing, and provides proofing to NIST SP 800-63-3
standards for high assurance (IAL3). SRIP delivers everything needed to remotely manage
the complete proofing process, allowing operators to see, talk to and guide users,
facilitating speed and accuracy while maximizing both safety and accurate workflow.
